Liverpool at Christmas

One of the best features of Liverpool is the city centre has many points of focus, all different. You are never bored here. As it goes to Christmas season, the variety of decorations and celebrations are one of the best in the country. Take a virtual Christmas walk of 2018 and see what Liverpool is proud of and known for.

The epic Liver Building is the most photographed in and around Liverpool, it seems to impose the ambience of the whole cityscape - as if a living being. Here it is dressed in kiddie festive mood.

Another focal point of the city life is Williamson Square with beautiful Playhouse building and the pre-eminent Radio City Tower; next is the main Christmas tree in Liverpool One, elegant and fashionable shopping district with glamorous decorations. And if one is more into low-cost folksy shopping ideas, there is St. John's shopping centre and market, opposite Lime Street station. A glowing Liver Bird is topped on the Christmas watch.

Back to Liverpool One in daylight and a bit of funfair on the Pier Head. Hard Days Night Hotel, reflecting the Beatles story, gave the Fab Four statues some winter wrap-up :)
